Join our busy warehouse facility in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, as a Warehouse Worker! This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing goods are handled efficiently and accurately. You will perform a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Responsibilities include unloading deliveries, verifying shipment contents, accurately retrieving items for orders, and preparing them for dispatch. Maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse is also key. We prioritize safety, and all employees must adhere to our safety regulations and use required PPE. Regular lifting and physical exertion are involved. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in the logistics field with a supportive team.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming inventory.
- Stock shelves and organize warehouse storage areas.
- Accurately pick items according to customer orders.
- Pack orders securely for shipment.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse space.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Wear and properly use all required PPE.
- Perform tasks involving lifting and moving materials up to 45 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
