Join our dedicated warehouse team in Fort Worth, Texas, as a certified Forklift Operator. This role is essential for the safe and efficient movement of materials within our facility. You will be responsible for operating forklifts to load, unload, and transport goods, stacks, and materials. The ideal candidate will possess a valid forklift certification, a strong understanding of warehouse operations, and a commitment to safety. Your duties will include inspecting forklifts before use, maintaining them in good working order, and adhering to all safety guidelines. We are committed to providing a secure work environment, and the use of appropriate PPE is mandatory. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a physically demanding environment, and experience with various types of forklifts. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Transport goods to and from storage areas, production areas, or loading docks.
- Perform daily inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and organization.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and safety knowledge.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical condition and manual dexterity.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Experience with RF scanners is a plus.
