Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
- Sort and place materials or orders on racks, shelves, or in designated storage areas.
- Accurately pick orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Pack and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Load and unload delivery trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper PPE usage and lifting techniques.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training may be provided).
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the distribution center and logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Capability of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Understanding of safety protocols, including the use of PPE.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain concepts is a plus.
