Our San Francisco, California operations are seeking a skilled Warehouse Coordinator to manage and optimize our warehouse functions. This pivotal role involves overseeing inventory management, coordinating shipping and receiving activities, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods through our logistics network. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, managing warehouse staff, and implementing best practices for Safety and operational efficiency. This position requires strong organizational skills, leadership qualities, and a deep understanding of warehouse logistics.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including inventory control, shipping, and receiving.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse layouts and workflows.
- Manage and train warehouse staff, fostering a productive and safe work environment.
- Ensure accurate inventory tracking and regular cycle counts.
- Coordinate with suppliers and transportation providers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Implement and enforce all Safety regulations, including proper PPE usage and hazard identification.
- Maintain warehouse equipment and facilities.
- Generate reports on warehouse performance and inventory levels.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse management or coordination.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics principles.
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a high level of Safety awareness.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and best practices in logistics.
