Join our dynamic team in Sacramento, California, as a Picker/Packer. This essential role within our logistics operation focuses on accurately and efficiently fulfilling customer orders. You will be responsible for retrieving items from inventory using scanning technology or pick lists, carefully packing them to ensure safe transit, and preparing them for shipment. A commitment to Safety is paramount; all employees are required to follow strict safety protocols and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position demands attention to detail, speed, and the ability to handle physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of items up to 30 pounds, standing, and moving throughout the warehouse. We are looking for individuals who are organized, reliable, and work well in a fast-paced team environment. Your contribution is vital to our success in delivering products to our customers efficiently and accurately. We offer a supportive atmosphere and opportunities for growth within our logistics department. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick orders from designated warehouse locations.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, using appropriate materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Prepare orders for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking and packing quotas.
