About The Role

Are you ready to take your culinary career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a Junior Kitchen Manager to join our vibrant Restaurant & Quick Serve department in beautiful Bognor Regis!

In this exciting role, you’ll report directly to the Senior Kitchen Manager and play a vital part in leading a dynamic team of up to 10 members per shift. At the heart of our values is the mission to make our guests smile, and you’ll ensure that this happens consistently by keeping our guests at the center of all operational decisions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Resource planning, recruitment, and selection to build the best team for exceptional service.
• Monitoring guest experiences and developing action plans for continuous improvement.
• Managing food cost budgets through effective menu planning and cooking to standards.
• Ensuring compliance with food hygiene standards and health and safety regulations.

Typical working hours: This role is based on 40 hours per week, spread over 5 days with a variety of shifts between 7am and 3am, depending on the restaurant's opening hours.

You should be:

• Hardworking and determined, with a knack for getting things done.
• Reliable and always seeking better ways for the team to uphold our brand standards.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and fun-loving, understanding the value you bring to the guest experience.

Additionally, you should have:

• A Level 3 Food Safety qualification.
• Confidence in leading a team to maintain high standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Experience managing margins, controlling costs, and ensuring health, safety, and hygiene compliance.
