Nursery Practitioner - Level 3

Location: Furlong Rd, Wooburn Green, Bourne End SL8 5AE

Position: Nursery Practitioner

Hours: 40 hours - 5 days per week

Salary: Level 3 - £29,660.80 per annum plus a £1000 welcome bonus

Qualification: Level 3 Childcare Qualification is essential

The Bourne End Day Nursery & Pre School is a delightful and nurturing environment located in the heart of Bourne End. We are on the lookout for a passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our dedicated team. If you have a love for early years education and a Level 3 Childcare qualification, we want to hear from you!

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:

• Ensure each child’s individual needs are met, delivering high-quality care and education in a safe and nurturing environment.
• Observe, assess, and plan stimulating activities that cater to each child’s unique learning and development needs.
• Engage as a professional team member, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to develop new skills.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring they are regularly reviewed and applied.
• Follow risk assessments diligently and report any health and safety matters to management.
• Support the holistic development of children, including their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional growth.

To thrive in this role, you will need:

• Full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification - essential
• Fluency in written and spoken English - essential
• Over 1 year’s experience in Early Years - desirable
• Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - desirable
