A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ASSISTANT BRANCH MANAGER (ABM) We equip you with all the necessary tools for success and growth into a Branch Manager role! As an entry-level ABM, you will undergo an 18-24 month on-the-job paid training program, learning the intricacies of branch operations and management. Once training is complete, you will apply that knowledge in managing your own branch. Promotions to Branch Manager typically involve relocation; however, we offer a comprehensive relocation package for moves exceeding 50 miles. Your primary goal is to assist customers in achieving their financial goals. You actively explore opportunities to generate new loan business by reaching out to current and prospective customers, understanding their needs, and recommending the most suitable consumer loan and additional product solutions. You will educate customers on our lending services, including strategies to improve credit scores and consolidate debt. Guiding them through the loan application process and making timely payment reminder calls is also part of your responsibilities. In addition to focusing on customer satisfaction, you will handle various tasks that contribute to the success of the branch, including evaluating loan applications, performing risk assessments, making credit decisions, overseeing loan closings, and processing insurance claims. Your management skills will shine as you support the Branch Manager in recruitment, training, and the development and execution of plans to achieve sales targets while promoting our core values and ensuring a stellar customer experience. Requirements Bachelor's degree is required. Ideal majors include Business, Finance, Sales or related fields.
1 year or more of customer-facing sales experience (retail sales, goal-oriented, incentive-based) is preferred but not required.
Professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong communication and customer relations skills.
Ability to thrive independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage priorities.
Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance, with a satisfactory driving record.
Must meet our acceptable standards for criminal background history, credit history, and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Ability to meet eligibility requirements for insurance licensing to sell voluntary insurance products, contingent on a criminal background check conducted by the state's department of insurance.
Willingness and capability to relocate for promotion into a Branch Manager role. A full relocation package is offered for moves over 50 miles.
