Über
The Chief Solutions Architect will play an integral role in developing and maintaining the Architecture Implementation Plan, oversee system scalability, and ensure integration with third-party systems.
Possessing an Active DoD Secret clearance is required to be considered for this position; Top Secret preferred for handling sensitive data.
Position Responsibilities:
• Direct platform build-out, including filed-level mapping, workflow automation, metadata tagging, and user interface optimization • Guide technical decisions on metadata tagging, data lineage, and semantic fidelity across platform components • Collaborate with Platform Modernization Lead to ensure delivery thread alignment with future-state EA vision • Review and validate technical deliverables to ensure solution integrity, performance, and compliance with FedRAMP High and DoD SRG standards • Participate in EA governance processes and forums as a technical liaison, ensuring solution decisions reflect DoD enterprise standards • Provide technical oversight of modernization sequencing, artifact development, and cross-team alignment • Oversee development of platform-specific technical artifacts including configuration guides, metadata schemas, and security posture documentation • Advise on sustainment planning, release management, and user adoption strategies
Requirements
• Experience with Salesforce data and cloud integration, architecture, and delivery sequencing • Expertise in AWS GovCloud, DoDAF, and modern software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevSecOps) • Proven success integrating cloud platforms (e.g., Salesforce, AWS) with on-prem and hybrid systems in complex, federated environments • Deep familiarity with metadata governance, integration architecture, and record-level controls under FedRAMP High and DoD SRG • Experience coordinating with federal EA offices and aligning modernization activities with existing enterprise frameworks •
Active DoD Secret clearance required, Top Secret preferred for system administration tasks
Education & Experience: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field • 12+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 8 years in DoD environments designing high-availability, mission-critical systems • Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Architect, or Salesforce Integration Architect, preferred
