From managing complex IT systems to solving high-stakes technical challenges, youll be at the forefront of enabling time-sensitive Command and Control (C2) strategies for over 5,000 users. If youre ready to elevate defense tech and make a strategic impact-this is your next move./ppEssential Job Duties As a Senior Network Administrator at SOSi, you will work within the Network Operations team to provide essential support within the Area-of-Responsibility (AOR). Your role includes monitoring, maintaining, and ensuring network availability, all while adhering to DoD regulations. You will be responsible for managing various network components, including LAN, BAN, WAN, telecommunications/transport protocols, Unified Communications/VoIP/Video Teleconferencing (VTC), WAN accelerators, load-balancers, firewalls, and cryptographic devices./pp Configures and maintains Cisco routers, switches, Adaptive Security Appliances (ASAs), Taclane encryption devices, and Cisco Voice over IP (VoIP) systems to support efficient data flow within the network, while following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) when necessary./pp Supports and troubleshoots External Border Gateway Protocol (eBGP) routing within a Palo Alto environment./pp Implements and provides oversight of Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) and Taclane encryption methods to protect sensitive data./pp Provides essential support in the maintenance of VDI environments, ensuring efficient and secure user access./pp Manages Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Video Teleconferencing systems (VTC)s, and other Cisco VoIP systems to ensure reliable communication services./pp Serves as a point of incident escalation and coverage for network-related issues. Reviews and troubleshoots network transport and protocol related issues./pp Collaborates with the Cross-Domain Solutions team to facilitate secure information sharing across security domains./pp Acts as the primary point of contact (POC) for the project management team in support of the installation, configuration, and implementation of network equipment for new projects and requirements./pp Actively participates in project coordination alongside the project management team to ensure successful project execution./pp Liaises with POCs and customers to understand their network needs and provides appropriate solutions, including but not limited to List of Materials (LOM), proposals and related supporting documents (e.g., solution diagrams, implementation timelines, etc.)./pp Diligently follows guidance and direction from the Network Operations Lead, Deputy, and Operations Manager, adhering to established standards and procedures for network administration./pp Participates in related solution technologies and special projects, as required./ppQualifications Minimum Requirements/pulliActive in-scope TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility./liliBachelors Degree in IT, Networking, or similar, and 4 years of related experience or 8+ years of experience in network administration./liliDoD 8570 IAT-II compliant (CCNA, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP)/liliCisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher./liliExpertise in Cisco routers, switches, ASA, Palo Alto firewalls, CSfC, Taclane encryption methods, VDI environments, Cross-Domain Solutions, CUCM, and VTCs./liliKnowledge of network security best practices and compliance standards including government Secure Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs)./liliStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot network issues./liliAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing network requirements, and effectively communicate with POCs and customers./liliAble to support 24/7 operations (including support to exercises), when necessary./liliAble to follow instructions and work both independently and in a (distributed) team environment./li/ulpPreferred Qualifications/pulliRelevant IT certifications, particularly related to Cisco and network security (e.g., Cisco, Palo Alto, ITIL)./liliFamiliarity with Department of Defense (DoD) protocols and procedures./liliExperience with virtual infrastructure, VDI/thin-client, and VoIP deployments./liliKnowledge of Forcepoint, Juniper, and other network technologies./liliProficient in Help Desk and software applications (Jira, Service Now, Remedy)./liliAwareness of Command and Control (C2) applications./liliExperience in ITIL framework and best practices (e.g., Change Management, Configuration Management, Incident Management, Capacity Planning)/liliCustomer-service oriented with a willingness to participate and assist./li/ulpAdditional Information Work Environment/pulliFast-paced and deadline-oriented work environment./liliPotential for non-traditional working hours, including consecutive nights and weekends./liliOccasional travel to locations within the supported Area-of-Responsibility (AOR)./liliTarget Salary Range: $92,550 to $112,290./li/ul/div
