NETGEAR is looking for a dynamic Sales Engineer (SE) to join our Network Security team. In this critical role, youll work directly with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and Small-to-Medium Businesses (SMBs), serving as a trusted technical advisor and driving the successful adoption of NETGEARs next-generation security solutions./ppYou will play a key role in the pre-sales cycle by demonstrating technical expertise, shaping customer solutions, and influencing product adoption. This is a remote position with occasional travel to customer sites, events, or team meetings./ppstrongKey Responsibilities:/strong/pulliAct as the technical subject matter expert (SME) on NETGEARs network security portfolio during the sales cycle./liliWork closely with sales teams to understand customer requirements and design tailored solutions using NETGEARs security offerings./liliDeliver engaging technical presentations, product demos, and Proof-of-Concept (PoC) sessions for prospective customers./liliGuide MSPs and SMBs through the deployment and implementation of products such as Next-Generation Firewalls, Zero-Trust Network Access, Secure Web Gateways, VPNs, and SD-WAN./liliDevelop and maintain strong technical relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders./liliProvide feedback to product and engineering teams based on customer needs and competitive trends./liliSupport channel partners and assist with onboarding, enablement, and technical training./liliStay up to date with industry trends, emerging threats, and competitive solutions./liliParticipate in industry events, webinars, and other forums to promote NETGEARs security solutions./li/ulpstrongRequired Qualifications:/strong/pulliBachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Security, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field./lili3+ years of experience in a Sales Engineering, Systems Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or related technical role, specifically in network security./liliProven hands-on experience implementing and deploying solutions including:/liulliNext-Generation Firewalls/liliZero-Trust Network Access (ZTNA)/liliSecure Web Gateways (SWG)/liliVPN technologies (WireGuard, IPSec, SSL, client-based and clientless)/liliSD-WAN/li/ulliStrong understanding of routing, switching, and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, etc.)./liliAbility to translate complex technical topics into clear business value for stakeholders./liliExcellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills./liliExperience working with MSPs and/or SMB clients in a consultative or pre-sales capacity./li/ulpstrongPreferred Qualifications (optional):/strong/pulliProfessional certifications such as CISSP or similar./liliExperience working with cloud-based security platforms and SaaS-delivered security./liliExposure to regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, or SOC 2./liliExperience supporting partner ecosystems and VARs in a technical sales capacity./liliFamiliarity with automation, scripting (e.g., Python, Bash), or infrastructure-as-code is a plus./li/ulpstrongCompany Statement/Values:/strong/ppAt NETGEAR, we are on a mission to unleash the full potential of connectivity with intelligent solutions that delight and protect.
