This is a high-trust role: we need someone who is self-directed, can make good product and technical decisions with limited oversight, and is comfortable shipping in compliance-driven settings. Youll collaborate closely with users and cross-functional partners, while also setting a high bar for code quality and UX./ppYoull be part of a small team of dedicated frontend engineers working closely alongside backend, full stack, and platform engineers to build mission management software. Youll support a variety of government and commercial satellite missions, all while rapidly iterating with our end users to meet their mission needs!/ph3Key Responsibilities/h3ulliBuild and maintain a highly intuitive and usable frontend interface for satellite mission operations/liliCollaborate with designers, product managers, and backend/platform engineers to develop and refine features/liliBuild reusable React components using Typescript and modern frameworks (e.g., Next.js, Refine)/liliIntegrate frontend components with APIs (GraphQL, REST)/liliContribute to design in Figma; collect and respond to stakeholder feedback/liliEnsure best practices in frontend security, resilience, and maintainability/liliParticipate in code reviews, CI/CD processes, and test suite development/liliEngage with users to gather feedback and measure product usage to inform continuous improvements/li/ulh3Qualifications/h3pstrongTechnical Skills/strong/pulliStrong professional experience with React 18 +TypeScript building modular, reusable components and hooks/liliProduction experience with Next.js (routing/layouts, SSR/SSG/ISR as applicable) and modern frontend build tooling (Vite)/liliHands-on familiarity with Ant Design/Design Systems and building custom components/patterns on top of a design system/liliState management experience with Redux Toolkit (and/or RTK Query or equivalent) in data-rich applications/liliStrong UI/UX sensibilities, with the ability to translate complex workflows into simple, elegant interfaces/liliExperience working in Figma, contributing to design prototypes and collaborating closely with designers/liliHands-on API integration experience, including GraphQL and REST, with an understanding of efficient data fetching and caching patterns/liliFamiliarity with identity and access management solutions (e.g., Auth0, Okta) and fundamental cloud security concepts/liliVersion control proficiency using Git/GitHub in a team-based workflow/liliUnderstanding of CI/CD pipelines, ideally GitHub Actions, with experience automating builds, tests, and deployments/liliWorking knowledge of frontend testing frameworks (Playwright or Cypress) and a commitment to maintaining high test coverage/li/ulpstrongSoft Skills/strong/pulliProduct-minded engineering approach you think in terms of user outcomes, not just features/liliStrong ownership mentality, taking initiative to improve systems, interfaces, and user experiences/liliExcellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in cross-functional settings/liliCommitment to quality, including maintainability, performance, accessibility, and resilience/liliSelf-sufficient and ownership-driven: you can take a problem from vague to shipped with minimal supervision/liliStrong judgment / decision-making involving reliability, security, UX, and delivery speed/li/ulpstrongBackground/strong/pulliBachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience/lili3+ years of professional frontend development experience (exceptional self-taught or nontraditional candidates welcome with demonstrated skill)/liliActive US Security Clearance (Secret Required, TS/SCI Preferred)/li/ulh3ITAR REQUIREMENTS/h3ulliTo conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C.
