divh2Outside Sales Engineer/h2pEatons ES AMER NAS division is currently seeking an Outside Sales Engineer. Candidates for this role must reside within 50 miles of our North Little Rock, AR location to be considered for the position. Relocation assistance will be offered for successful applicants who live outside this location./ph3What Youll Do:/h3pThe primary function of the Sales Engineer is to market and sell Eatons products and services to obtain orders that are profitable to Eaton. The position is expected to achieve electrical components sales for distribution and controls. This will be expected in the geographic market region consistent with the expectations of sales professionals. The primary responsibility is to manage the assigned customer base, to increase sales in the local marketplace, application guidance and technical assistance to assigned customers. This position is expected to develop, grow and maintain relationships with Eaton employees, specifiers and customers, including Eaton authorized distributors./ppIn this function you will:/pulliBuild and own relationships with key customers and channel partners to enhance long-term business prospects/liliLearn and understand business models to better own, develop and execute sales plans to meet performance expectations and requirements/liliCollaborate and leverage channel to execute on business objectives/liliCanvas the market to gain insight and adjust to ever changing pricing and delivery requirements/liliUse corporate tools and business analytics about the customer to drive data-based decisions about account opportunities and growth/liliCollaborate cross functionally with product lines, operations and other internal stakeholders to provide customer centric solutions/liliLead technical presentations at customers forums and local technical associations/liliProactively work with factories to resolve technical issues while working with customers to resolve quality issues/liliAssist the team to develop a coordinated sales effort while keeping management informed of market conditions/liliQuote projects and negotiate accurate required pricing/liliObtain ongoing training on both functional and technical skills/li/ulh3Qualifications:/h3pRequired (Basic) Qualifications:/pulliBachelors degree from an accredited institution/liliMinimum one (1) year of experience within the electrical industry or a minimum two (2) internship experiences within the electrical industry/liliPossess a valid drivers license/li/ulpPreferred Qualifications:/pulliBachelors degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering/li/ulh3Skills:/h3pPosition Criteria:/pulliPossess excellent communication skills/liliMust be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future/liliDemonstrates adaptability in responding to diverse situations while consistently exhibiting exceptional sales proficiency across key customer services and applications/liliElectrical product basic knowledge/liliSkilled in time management/liliPossess negotiating skills while understanding and using techniques needed to close orders/liliAbility to prepare sales proposals that meet customer expectations/liliExperience utilizing value-added selling techniques/liliStrong work ethic, competitiveness, willingness to learn and adept at building relationships/liliAbility to travel up to 10%/li/ulpThe compensation range for this full-time position includes base pay and target sales performance incentive. This position has a target total compensation range of $81,750 - $119,900.
