divh2Sales Trainee/h2pThe Sales Trainee is responsible for learning about SGWS products, industry, consultative sales and customers. The Sales Trainee will support more senior sales employees and the Area Sales Manager in servicing and selling to customers./ph3Primary Responsibilities/h3ulliThe Sales Trainee is responsible for training on the following:/liliBuild positive, credible, lasting customer relationships based on trust/liliPreplan account visits with an agenda, service purpose, and selling opportunities/liliDiscover and identify customer business growth needs/liliDevelop a customer business growth plan for each account/liliAnalyze data and insights to increase sales, grow customer business, and better achieve objectives/liliBuild a pipeline of selling opportunities to drive incremental sales above base business/liliPrioritize sales activities to achieve objectives based on each customer business growth plan/liliVisit accounts regularly, capture visit notes, and build visit plans considering previous visit outcomes/liliMaintain deep knowledge of SGWS products and correctly present and position them in each account/liliPropose selling solutions to each customer and win the sale using consultative selling skills/liliAchieve internal SGWS and supplier objectives as prioritized by management/liliManage customer issue resolution and seek additional opportunities to support the customers needs/liliAdapt selling approach based on each customers buying styles and individual business needs/liliLearn all accounts staying current with what competitors are offering and how SGWS products are positioned relative to the competition/liliDocument and maintain account- and customer-specific information in the Proof CRM application/liliParticipate in sales meetings, on-site trainings, and supplier events as required/liliPerform other job-related duties as assigned/li/ulh3Minimum Qualifications/h3ulliAbility to secure and maintain a State Sales Permit in accordance with state laws.
