Job Responsibilities ***This posting will be used to fill multiple summer internship positions in the Information Technology Services Department in the areas of Applications Services, Endpoint Services, End User Services, Geospatial Services (GIS), and Network Services. ***
In the area of Applications Services, the responsibilities includes: Assists with the inventory of existing applications. Assists with the testing and documentation of new and updated applications. Assists with the analysis, cleanup, and migration of data to new and updated applications. Assists with the production of software video help tutorials. In the area of Endpoint Services, the responsibilities includes:
Assists with moving users and installing hardware and software of end-users. Assists with hardware inventory documentation, storage, and labeling. Assists with printer documentation, supplies, installation, and troubleshooting. Assists with building and configuring desktops, laptops, and tablets for deployment to end-users. In the area of End User Services, the responsibilities includes:
Assists with providing technical support on the IT Help Desk for internal users. Assists with providing technical support for external users using the CSCTS system. Assists with creating and maintaining network accounts for DMZ users. In the area of Geospatial Services (GIS), the responsibilities includes:
Assists in the creation of interactive GIS maps and in the creation of location maps as requested. Provides assistance with Data Analysis. Assists with Scanning/Researching Documents. In the area of Network Services, the responsibilities includes: Assists with updating network documentation. Assists with inventory of network devices. Assists with installation of network devices.
Pay Rate is between $17.00 - $23.00/per hour depending on qualifications. Minimum and Additional Requirements
A high school diploma; or an approved acceptable equivalence.
Applicants must be accepted into or currently enrolled in a two-year or four-year college or university program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, GIS, or related field. Additional Comments
