About the Nursery Practitioner RoleAs a Nursery Practitioner, you will:
- Assist management in providing the highest standard of compliance, care, and education for children.
- Work closely with the Room Leader and other staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Contribute ideas to planning, ensuring children receive high-quality learning and development.
- Liaise with nursery staff regarding children’s specific needs and requirements.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment.
- Adhere to all nursery policies and procedures.
- Meet health and safety and environmental health requirements.
We care for children from birth to 5 years old, operating Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM all year round, except for public bank holidays. Our aim is to provide a happy, home-away-from-home environment with a focus on individual attention and learning through play. We believe every child should feel happy, safe, and healthy in a stimulating educational environment.
Our dedicated staff are passionate about nurturing children, with many bringing a wealth of experience and others training on the job.
Essential Criteria - Qualifications/Experience- Full and relevant Level 2 or 3 Childcare Qualification - Essential
- Over 1 year's experience working in Early Years - Essential
- Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations to achieve a Good or Outstanding rating - Desirable
- Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - Essential
- Fluent in written and spoken English - Essential
