About The Role

Are you ready to take the culinary lead at Butlin's in Minehead? We’re on the lookout for a Senior Kitchen Manager / Head Chef to join our vibrant team!

At Butlin’s, we believe that every seaside trip deserves fantastic food. As our Senior Kitchen Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring that every guest enjoys a delightful dining experience in our restaurants.

In this exciting position, you will:

• Lead and develop our talented kitchen team across various food venues.
• Ensure Junior Kitchen Managers are effectively leading each shift.
• Maintain compliance with all food safety and Health & Safety policies.
• Manage food orders with our onsite warehouse and uphold HACCP processes.
• Collaborate with the Food Development Team to tackle operational challenges.
• Establish a motivated culinary team that delivers high-quality service.
• Implement cost control procedures and monitor waste and breakage.
• Work closely with both kitchen and front-of-house teams for seamless operations.

We’re seeking passionate individuals with:

• Previous experience in a similar kitchen management role.
• A proven track record of developing team performance in a commercial culinary environment.
• A hardworking and determined attitude, always looking for ways to enhance team efficiency.
• Energetic and enthusiastic spirit, ready to contribute to a fun workplace.
• A Level 3 Food Safety qualification and confidence in leading a busy kitchen team.

Typical working hours: 40 hours per week, five days over seven.
