Position: Nursery Practitioner

Salary: £29,348.80 per annum

Hours: 40 hours a week

Located on a serene residential street, Rosewood Montessori Day Nursery & Forest School is perfectly positioned between Ruislip Manor and Eastcote Train Stations, with convenient on-street parking available. Our nursery offers a warm, homely atmosphere within a spacious house, enriched by a variety of extracurricular activities.

Your Role as Nursery Practitioner

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:

  • Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences tailored to children's age and development.
  • Ensure compliance with the statutory framework for the EYFS.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery.
  • Support the smooth running of the nursery and the wellbeing of children, staff, and families.
  • Build strong professional relationships and report any concerns to management.
  • Facilitate a key person approach to help children form secure attachments.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to stay updated on key priorities and policies.

*Please note that duties may evolve, and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

What You Need to Succeed
  • Essential: Full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification.
  • Essential: Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Desirable: Over 1 year of experience in Early Years.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements.
