Nursery Practitioner - Level 3

Salary: £13.27 per hour

Contract Type: Part-time (30 hours)

In this rewarding role, you will be the key person for a designated group of children, guiding them through their daily routines, engaging with parents, and creating an enriching environment for growth and learning.

Established in May 1998 and rated Good by Ofsted, CherryVale Nursery features:

• Five distinct age group rooms
• A sensory room for 0-2 year-olds

Conveniently located near Ash Vale and North Camp train stations, with excellent bus links, our nursery is open from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

• Meet each child’s individual needs, delivering high-quality care and education in a safe, nurturing environment.
• Observe, assess, and plan engaging early years activities tailored to each child's learning and development.
• Collaborate as a professional team member, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring they are regularly reviewed and applied.
• Follow risk assessments diligently and report health and safety matters to management.
• Support the holistic development of children, including their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional growth.

• Essential: Full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification.
• Essential: Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Desirable: Over 1 year of experience working in Early Years.
• Desirable: Knowledge of the Statutory Framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements.
