divh2Senior System Administrator/h2pThe Senior System Administrator ensures the stable, secure, and optimized operation of in-house computer software systems and network connections supporting the CAGE system of applications and mission capabilities. This role is responsible for planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing network software, communication links, and enterprise systems across multiple locations. The position provides senior-level technical leadership in managing, maintaining, and securing critical IT infrastructure (servers, networks, storage) within secure environments, with a focus on high availability, cybersecurity compliance (STIGs/RMF), automation, advanced troubleshooting, and mission readiness. The Senior System Administrator also directs the work of other system administrators and provides mentorship, training, and operational leadership./ppAdditional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To:/pulliInstall, configure, operate, and maintain servers, storage systems, and peripherals/liliAdminister enterprise environments including Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, Group Policy (GPO), and VMware/liliEnsure system stability, integrity, availability, and performance for mission-critical functions/liliPerform hardware and software upgrades, lifecycle management, and maintenance/liliProvide local and remote maintenance support for systems deployed across multiple locations/liliApply and validate DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)/liliImplement and manage security controls, patching, and vulnerability remediation/liliSupport Risk Management Framework (RMF) documentation, compliance, and accreditation activities/liliMonitor for security threats, manage firewalls, and support incident response/liliPerform vulnerability management and system hardening activities/liliDevelop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), technical documentation, and network diagrams/liliAutomate routine administrative tasks using PowerShell, Python, Ansible, or similar tools/liliCreate, manage, and maintain OS images for system deployment/liliImprove system administration efficiency through automated tools and scripting/liliProvide advanced Tier 2/3 technical support for complex system issues/liliMonitor system performance and capacity (e.g., SCOM)/liliManage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery operations/liliProduce technical reports, incident documentation, SITREPs, AARs, and outage reports/liliAnalyze and resolve end-user software, connectivity, and performance issues/liliDirect and coordinate day-to-day activities of system administrators/liliLead system and resource optimization initiatives/liliPlan for future hardware/software needs and long-term infrastructure requirements/liliProvide technology direction aligned with business and mission objectives/liliCollaborate with military, civilian, and contractor stakeholders across functional teams/liliDevelop and deliver system administrator training and skills assessments/liliProvide end-user training when required/li/ulpExperience Requirements:/pulliAt least 4 years of hands-on experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and resolving issues with enterprise software systems (OR equivalent combination of education and experience as allowed by contract)/li/ulpEducation Requirements:/pulliBA/BS in a technical discipline with at least 10 years of specialized experience, defined as progressive experience in Information Processing disciplines involving diverse hardware/software solutions/li/ulpCertificate, License, and Registration Requirements:/pulliDoD 8570/8140 Approved Baseline Certification/liliCategory: IAT Level II/liliRole: Server Admin Applications/liliFunction: Application Administrator/liliCertification in one or more of the following areas:/liulliCompTIA/liliMicrosoft Azure/liliIBM MQ/liliWindows Web Server (IIS)/li/ul/ulpOther Required Skills Abilities:/pulliMust be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract./liliMust be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook./li/ulpSecurity Clearance Requirements: Top Secret/SCI Clearance US Citizenship Requirements: This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Sawdey Solution Services to staff it only with U.S. Citizens./ppAbout the Organization Sawdey Solution Services, an ISO 9001 certified and CMMI-SVC v2 Level 3 appraised corporation, has built a nationwide and global footprint as a leading government contracting organization.
