Therefore, interested candidates should be within a 50-minute radius from Temple, TX./ppBenefits you can count on:/pulliDay 1 Benefits: medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA/HSA, and company-paid life insurance/liliPaid time off begins day one./lili401(k) Profit Sharing Plan after 90 days./liliAdditional benefits: pet insurance, maternity/paternity leave, employee assistance programs, discount programs, tuition reimbursement program, and more!/li/ulpWhat youll do as a Sr Cloud Architect:/pulliDesign and architect scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions on a multi-cloud environment (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)./liliPlan and execute the migration of on-premises workloads to the cloud, including re-platforming and refactoring applications for cloud-native architectures./liliServe as a subject matter expert for cloud technologies, providing guidance and technical governance to application and infrastructure teams./liliLead by example with hands-on skills in areas such as Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation), and the creation of design patterns and Proofs of Value (PoVs)./liliDefine and enforce cloud standards, best practices, and governance policies related to security, cost management (FinOps), and operational excellence./liliDevelop and deliver training to technical teams, enabling them to effectively build and manage solutions in the cloud./liliPartner with enterprise architecture to create and maintain the cloud roadmap, and with application teams to understand their requirements and align solutions with business objectives./liliAct as a cloud evangelist, securing buy-in from all stakeholders, including executive leadership. Guide the overall cloud strategy, roadmapping, and cultural shift towards a cloud-first mindset./liliOversee relationships with cloud providers, negotiating contracts and pricing to ensure optimal cost-efficiency./liliDesign and implement hybrid cloud solutions that seamlessly integrate on-premises infrastructure with public cloud services./liliEnforce security and governance policies to ensure all cloud solutions meet industry-specific regulations and compliance standards./liliPerform other duties as assigned./li/ulpQualifications youll bring as a Sr Cloud Architect:/pulliBachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or related field./liliFive or more years of experience in a senior-level cloud architect, solutions architect, or similar/liliDemonstrable expertise with at least two major public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and an understanding of multi-cloud architectural patterns./liliProven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or Ansible./liliStrong understanding of network architecture, security principles, and compliance frameworks in a cloud environment./liliExperience with application modernization, including microservices architecture, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless computing./liliExceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences./liliRelevant professional cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, Google Professional Cloud Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert)./liliExperience with FinOps (Cloud Financial Management) practices and cost optimization strategies./liliFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices./liliExperience designing and implementing data-driven solutions and data analytics platforms in the cloud./liliExperience in Change Management: Proven ability to drive organizational change and gain buy-in from diverse stakeholders./liliProven experience in stakeholder management and an understanding of how technology decisions drive business value./liliExpertise in designing, building, and managing hybrid cloud environments./liliDeep understanding of key compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, SOX, PCI)./liliThis position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role.
