divh2Systems Administrator/h2pAbacus Technology is seeking a Systems Administrator to provide technical support for the Army Test and Evaluation Command (Atec) at Aberdeen Proving Ground. This is a full-time position./ppResponsibilities include:/pulliPerform Windows Server Active Directory (AD) configuration and administration including policy management./liliPerform Windows Server systems administration including troubleshooting, monitoring, and support./liliManage VMware environment, including systems deployment, patching, STIG/hardening and troubleshooting./liliSupport Windows event and performance monitoring; and management of hosted systems software platforms./liliResolve complex issues associated with system configuration management, resource sharing and basic networking troubleshooting and problem identification./liliResolve security issues including identity management, records retention, and implements destruction policies./liliUtilize and write operating system commands and scripts, manage disk configurations, maintain hardware and software RAID 1-N, perform migration, backup and recovery using scripting languages, such as Bash, PowerShell, Python, Ruby, and/or Perl./liliSupport performance tuning, capacity planning and bottleneck resolution, administration of Microsoft Servers, building and maintaining high-availability, clustered and scalable systems, and load balancing./liliManage production environments using automated install, automated build and deployment, automated configuration management, enterprise monitoring systems, server virtualization, load balancing, web servers, and application servers./liliSupport storage hardware and environments (i.e. Commvault)./liliWork with Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS)./liliSupport HBSS configuration management and troubleshooting (e.g. McAfee/Trellix)./li/ulpQualifications include:/pulli7+ years experience in systems administration including at least 5 years in a lead or supervisory role./liliBachelors degree in a related field./liliMust be Security+ certified (or hold an equivalent certification in compliance with DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II)./liliMust hold a computing environment (e.g. Microsoft, Red Hat)./liliExpertise in Active Directory (AD) configuration and policy administration./liliExtensive Experience with Red Hat Linux./liliExperience in VMWare systems including troubleshooting and monitoring./liliExperience in resolving complex issues associated with configuration management. resource sharing and basic networking troubleshooting and problem identification./liliExperience in resolving complex security issues, identity management, records retention, and adhering to destruction policies./liliExperience using and writing operating system commands and scripts, and scripting languages, including one or more of Bash, Powershell, Python, Ruby, and/or Perl./liliExperience in TCP/IP, firewalls and routing./liliExperience with performance tuning, capacity planning and bottleneck resolution./liliExperience in resource allocation and utilization for large databases, disk configuration, including the maintenance of hardware and software RAID 1-N./liliExperience in database design, data modeling and query execution, database replication, migration, backup and recovery./liliExperience performance tuning, capacity planning and bottleneck resolution, building and maintaining high-availability, clustered and scalable systems./liliExperience managing a production environment with the following: automated install, automated build and deployment, automated configuration management, enterprise monitoring systems, server virtualization, load balancing, web servers, and application servers, Microsoft server operating systems and middleware, server configuration and installation, performance and network monitoring tools, operating systems upgrades and migrations./liliExperience managing or working with Windows Server and Linux Operating systems and associated configuration tools is desirable./liliExperience with Cisco UCS is a plus./liliMust be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance./li/ulpThe projected compensation range for this position is $115,000-$135,000. There are multiple factors that can impact a final salary, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (if remote or different from the stated location for this position), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
