divh2Journeyman Systems Administrator/h2pGreenfield Engineering, a Saalex Company is seeking a Journeyman Systems Administrator in Patuxent River, MD. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuration, deployment and maintaining Windows servers, Windows 11 desktop systems, network infrastructure and compliance with information assurance requirements. Candidate will create and maintain virtualized development environments. Candidate will support 200 users / 150 computer assets / printers / network connectivity in the building. Position Type: Full-Time Salary: $68k-$135k annually (depending on experience) Work Location: Full-time onsite (see onsite requirements below) On-site Requirements: This position is not eligible for reoccurring telework, and will require an onsite presence at Patuxent River NAS for greater than or equal to 90% of the work week. Essential Functions:/polliInstall, configure, and support an organizations local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system./liliMonitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and may perform necessary maintenance to support network availability./liliMonitor and test Web site performance to ensure Web sites operate correctly and without interruption./liliAssist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software./liliMay supervise computer user support specialists and computer network support specialists./liliAdminister network security measures./liliOther duties as assigned or required./li/ol Requirements: ulliAbility to obtain Yankee White access clearance./liliMinimum 5 years system administration experience/liliCompTIA Security+ certification/liliKnowledgeable / proficient in the use of Microsoft operating systems/liliTroubleshoot tier 1 support issues/liliAbility to manage / maintain various types of servers and security requirements/liliSecurity conscious in all aspects/liliFamiliar with Azure and virtualization/liliResourceful / problem solving skills/liliWorks independently/liliSelf-starter/liliOrganized/liliDetail oriented/liliBS/BA degree and 3 years related experience, OR AA/AS degree and 5 years related experience, OR HS and 7 years related experience./li/ul Security Clearance: Active Top Secret required. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc. Education: BS/BA degree and 3 years related experience, OR AA/AS degree and 5 years related experience, OR HS and 7 years related experience./div
