divh2Inside Sales Engineer/h2pNidec Elevator Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer to join our team. As a member of the Sales Engineering Team, the Inside Sales Engineer will develop a strong understanding of our traction product and engineering processes to design and estimate elevator packages to meet the needs of consultants, architects, and elevator contractors./ph3Duties and Responsibilities:/h3ulliMaintain strong business relationships with customers via meeting bid dates and providing technical product knowledge to develop and grow assigned accounts./liliReview and interpret project specific specifications and drawings./liliInteract with customers and vendors via the phone and/or email to generate proposals./liliGenerate accurate proposals and present those proposals to elevator contractors./liliProvide technical advice on how Nidec Elevators products, services, and capabilities could best satisfy our customers needs./liliAct as the voice of the customer in detailing their needs to internal departments./liliSupport daily inquiries regarding product orders, quotations, and overall business support./liliWork with the customer and our engineering department throughout the project to determine costs associated with design changes./liliUnderstand business processes and make proactive decisions to effectively solve customer issues and increase likelihood of future sales./liliIdentify and drive corrective actions and improvement projects that will raise customer satisfaction levels./li/ulh3Requirements:/h3ulliStrong technical background. Associates degree or higher in Engineering or related field preferred./liliDemonstrates excellent communications skills (verbal, written and spoken)./liliWillingness to assist customers in solving problems and following up on questions and issues./liliEnergetic and enthusiastic individual that wants to learn and grow with the company./liliAnalytical and structured thinking with the ability to understand customers requests and find resources within Canton Elevator to meet their needs./liliDemonstrate the ability to work under pressure as well as adjust priorities and strategies in relation to current business conditions./liliWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite./liliAbility to understand Nidec Elevators full range of products and capabilities./liliDemonstrated ability to take ownership of, and maintain progress on, multiple tasks./liliAbility to work independently with minimal supervision./liliAuto-Cad 2D SolidWorks experience preferred./li/ulh3Additional Job Details/h3pOrganizational Impact Works to achieve operational, functional, and/or business targets within team with direct and indirect impact on departmental or job family results, using practical technical principles Intermediate-level technical contributor; generally works independently under moderate supervision and may seek advice of more senior employees in the same area Failure to achieve results requires allocation of additional resources to meet goals and impacts project completion with the potential for additional financial expense.
