Position Summary The
Senior Data Product Owner
will be a key member of the
Data Enablement and Analytics (DEA)
team, responsible for defining and delivering data products that enable advanced analytics, AI/ML solutions, and data-driven decision-making across the manufacturing value chain. This role ensures that data products are strategically aligned with business objectives and leverage enterprise platforms, including
Salesforce
, to maximize value.
Key Responsibilities Product Vision & Strategy
o Define and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for data products within the DEA portfolio.
o Align product initiatives with the enterprise data strategy and AI roadmap.
Stakeholder Engagement
o Partner with business leaders, data engineers, and analytics teams to identify high-impact use cases.
o Act as the voice of the business within the DEA team, ensuring solutions meet operational needs.
Data Enablement & Governance
o Ensure data products adhere to governance, security, and compliance standards.
o Champion data quality, accessibility, and usability across the organization.
Salesforce Data Integration & Reporting
o Leverage knowledge of
Salesforce data model
to design and optimize data products.
o Collaborate with CRM and business teams to integrate Salesforce data into enterprise data platforms.
o Enable advanced reporting and analytics using Salesforce data combined with other enterprise sources.
Execution & Delivery
o Translate business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams.
o Manage product backlog, prioritize features, and oversee delivery in an Agile environment.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
o Drive adoption of modern data platforms, cloud technologies, and AI/ML capabilities.
Required Qualifications Education:
o Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
Experience:
o 7+ years in data product management, analytics, or related roles.
o Strong background in manufacturing or industrial operations.
o Hands-on experience with
Salesforce data model, reporting, and integration .
o Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and modern data architectures.
Skills:
o Expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
o Strong understanding of data governance, data modeling, and analytics tools.
o Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have •
Basic Power BI skills , including creating dashboards and reports. • Familiarity with
basic DAX functions
for calculated columns and measures. • Knowledge of AI/ML applications in manufacturing.
