Wasserman Next Gen is looking for a motivated leader to join our Insights & Analytics team as an Associate Director.
The Wasserman Next Gen Insights & Analytics team leads our efforts around measurement, custom research, analytics, and the development of insight-driven strategies. The Associate Director will guide the advancement of Wasserman's perspective on Next Gen consumer behavior and performance measurement.
The candidate should have a strong analytical background and demonstrate the ability to plan and execute primary consumer research (quantitative and qualitative). They must have experience collating data from multiple sources to construct engaging, data-driven narratives, while also planning and executing a rigorous measurement protocol to assess the performance of program implementation. We look for those fueled by innate intellectual curiosity, and an unshakable accountability with a team-first attitude.
Duties:
Leverage syndicated and proprietary research tools to identify and extract consumer insight and program performance data Produce actionable, insight-driven narratives and solutions by synthesizing and analyzing data from multiple sources Coach more junior team members on sharp story development and effective presentation styles Lead the planning and execution of primary consumer research projects (e.g. consumer surveys) to inform client strategies, shape recommendations and measure performance Build and utilize measurement models to inform ROI for clients Display continuous thought leadership in monitoring, measuring and identifying actionable insights from disparate data sources within large, integration sponsorship platforms Work collaboratively with team members to develop and refine client deliverables, such as presentations, reporting tools, and supporting materials Support a wide range of business development efforts including budget building by serving as an Insights & Analytics team lead in conversations with both prospects and clients Maintain a positive and professional relationship with both internal and external clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities Manage work plans and overall project logistics to help ensure delivery of high-quality client work on time and on budget
Qualifications
Minimum of a bachelor's degree 8+ years of relevant experience in marketing, research, or analytics-based role with a winning track record of driving business through actionable insights Project/Team leadership experience including coaching skills, leading and guiding junior staff Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills Demonstrated experience executing primary consumer research Proficiency with research tools and applications, including by not limited to syndicated (e.g., Scarborough, GWI), visualization (Tableau), and data management and analysis (e.g., Qualtrics, Q) platforms Must be proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills particularly required for PowerPoint and Excel Must be able to multi-task and self-manage to meet deadlines and handle competing priorities Possess exceptional written and oral communication skills Must have superior interpersonal skills, with the ability to create a rapport with clients and colleagues alike Strong attention to detail and highly organized Ability to think creatively in a team environment Must be flexible and react calmly under stressful circumstances
Base salary range: $75-100K, plus bonus potential if applicable for role. Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
