Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and development teams to translate complex requirements into scalable technical architectures. Define technical standards, best practices, and roadmaps to ensure robust, secure, and efficient systems. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams during implementation phases. Evaluate new technologies and platforms to recommend innovative solutions for retail and consumer banking challenges. Drive the integration of emerging technologies such as AI or machine learning into banking solutions to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency. Ensure solutions adhere to compliance, security, and regulatory standards within the banking sector. Support pre-sales, proposal development, and client discussions when necessary. Required Skills:
Extensive experience (often 12+ years) as a Solution Architect in banking, finance, or a related technology consulting role. Strong expertise in Java tech stack. Proven track record in designing retail or consumer banking platforms and solutions. Deep understanding of banking processes, regulations, and industry best practices. Proficiency with cloud platforms, microservices, APIs, and enterprise integration patterns. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills. Ability to evaluate new technologies and drive digital innovation within the banking environment.
