Office Hybrid in Dallas, Indianapolis, Seattle, Atlanta, or McLean, VA
This position requires U.S. citizenship (born or naturalized), without holding dual citizenship, to satisfy customer and government screening standards. The successful candidate will undergo a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) for a Moderate Public Trust position with the U.S. federal government.
The Salesforce Digital Enterprise Technology (DET) team is on the lookout for a Solutions Architect to join our Public Sector Architecture Team. In this pivotal role, you will design and implement scalable solutions for complex projects in the Sales and Revenue Business Domain, leveraging your profound understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem, including C360, Data Cloud, Experience Cloud, Heroku, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Agentforce, Tableau, MuleSoft, and Slack. You will collaborate with diverse business partners, engineers, product managers, and strategic vendors to create systems that align with business strategies and establish a multi-year technology roadmap. Experience in Sales, Sales Support, Sales Enablement, Sales Compensation, and the Lead to Cash function will be advantageous. Responsibilities Develop architecture artifacts that enhance business processes, emphasizing innovation and agility.
Align business technology strategy with application development and roadmaps.
Provide ongoing architectural reviews and support for multi-functional teams.
Collaborate with management and domain experts to achieve objectives.
Design systems specifications that consider functionality, service quality, security, and observability.
Lead software selection processes, including RFI/RFP development and evaluation of software solutions, while executing proof of concepts as needed.
Define and maintain architecture models and frameworks, including diagrams and data models.
Analyze multi-functional business processes and recommend innovative technology solutions.
Investigate operational requirements and develop effective business solutions.
Develop effective communication channels with stakeholders to facilitate project collaboration.
Conduct data analysis and apply data modeling to establish or modify data structures.
Contribute to project scoping and effort estimations.
Research technology trends to inform architectural decisions.
Contribute to the creation of V2MOM framework and reference architecture.
Manage data and artifacts in the Architecture Repository.
Lead the application rationalization plan and contribute to the enterprise capability map.
Requirements At least 13 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 6 years in Salesforce solutions.
Experience in Business Architecture methodologies.
Proficiency with Salesforce C360 platform, Data Cloud, Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud, and related cloud technologies.
Familiarity with Agile Development Methodology.
Proven record as a Solutions Architect for enterprise transformation implementations.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
Strong functional and business process knowledge in the Lead to Cash spectrum.
Knowledge of ITIL and data quality management concepts.
Experience in Security, Integration, and Data Architecture.
In-depth knowledge of compliance standards such as PCI, PII, SOX, GDPR.
Experience speaking at industry events and customer engagements.
Familiarity with Predictive and/or Generative AI technologies.
Soft Skills: Strong leadership and relationship management skills.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with colleagues and partners.
Proficient in presenting to multi-functional leadership.
Adept at handling multiple projects in complex environments.
Desired Skills: Salesforce certifications are a plus.
Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile practices.
A technical degree or relevant qualification is preferred.
