Data Analyst Intern
to join our
BI Strategy Team
for
Summer 2026
. In this role, you'll support day-to-day analytics and reporting, contribute to dashboard quality and performance, and help turn large datasets into clear insights that drive business behavior. You'll also have a
light, research-oriented exposure to AI
, helping the team explore practical ways modern LLM tools can support analytics, automation, and internal workflows.
This internship is ideal for someone who is
driven, detail-oriented, eager to learn
, and interested in building real-world skills in
data modeling, visualization, SQL/Python
, and business problem-solving.

Hybrid (3 days in-office / 2 days remote)

Chicago (or Lincolnshire)
10-week program beginning June 2026

What You'll Do
Core Data & BI Responsibilities (Primary)
Use programming and analytics tools to
organize, clean, and analyze data
Perform
quality assurance
on existing dashboards, reports, and tools
Support
small data engineering tasks
using
SQL and Python
Conduct
data analysis to prove/disprove hypotheses
using analytics and visualization
Build
Power BI dashboards and reports
to track performance and drive action
Automate repetitive processes
to improve team efficiency
Break down large datasets into
digestible, impactful insights
Identify trends, challenges, and opportunities across
RV, retail, and digital business
Collaborate with the team through regular check-ins on progress, ideas, and tasks
Applied AI Research (Secondary / Light)
Help
research and evaluate AI tools and frameworks
(e.g., LLM platforms and agent/orchestration tools)
Assist with
prompt testing, documentation, and basic prototyping
for internal use cases (e.g., automation, knowledge support, data workflows)
Support experimentation to improve
reliability, accuracy, and usefulness
of AI-enabled workflows
What You'll Need for the Role:
Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in
Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics
, or a related field
Graduation date between December 2025 - July 2027
Able to work
hybrid in Chicago/Lincolnshire
for the full internship term (no relocation/housing stipend)
3.0+ cumulative GPA
Working knowledge of
Microsoft Office
(Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
Preferably some experience with
SQL
and
data visualization tools
(Power BI preferred)
Strong
troubleshooting, data interpretation, and technical
skills
Basic understanding of
information technology fundamentals
(databases, system security concepts, troubleshooting)
Strong
analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail
Excellent
written/verbal communication
, research, and note-taking skills
Ability to
multitask
and thrive in a
fast-paced, high-growth
environment
Professionalism and ability to maintain
strict confidentiality
Nice to Have (AI Exposure)
Interest in AI/LLMs and willingness to learn (prompting, basic RAG concepts, evaluation/testing)
Comfort writing clean, organized code in
Python
(or some familiarity with JavaScript)
Program Requirement
Participate in a
Capstone Internship Project
, culminating in a
final presentation to Executive Leadership
