Welder - MIG

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our manufacturing and construction team.

Responsibilities

• Perform , FCAW, and welding on a variety of materials including sheet metal, pipe, and structural steel
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding specifications
• Operate power tools such as press brake machines, plasma cutters, and hand tools safely and effectively
• Execute fabrication tasks including cutting, assembly, rigging, and machining of metal components
• Follow ASME codes & standards to ensure all welds meet safety and quality requirements
• Conduct quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and schematics to verify dimensions and weld integrity
• Maintain a clean work environment by adhering to safety protocols on construction sites or manufacturing floors
• Assist with pipe threading, assembly, ductwork fabrication, or other related tasks as needed
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high safety standards

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction site welding or manufacturing environments
• Proficiency in MIG welding, FCAW processes; welding experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
• Mechanical knowledge of rigging, pipe threading, machining, soldering, and assembly processes
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, press brake machines, plasma cutters, and other fabrication equipment
• Knowledge of ASME codes & standards applicable to welding projects
• Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication tasks
• Ability to operate cranes or forklifts is a plus but not mandatory
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety compliance on construction sites or manufacturing facilities
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods during shifts
