Maintenance Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our facilities and equipment. This role requires a strong mechanical background, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot various maintenance issues. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, and facilities.
• Read and interpret schematics to diagnose issues effectively.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules.
• Conduct inspections to identify potential problems before they become major issues.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities performed.
• Fabricate and weld components as needed for repairs or modifications.

Experience

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems.
• Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in maintenance tasks is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Bilingual is a huge plus.
