We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties

  • Assist patients and residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts.
  • Monitor and record vital signs accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) or EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems.
  • Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to HIPAA regulations.
  • Provide specialized care for patients with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments, including memory care techniques and behavioral health support.
  • Assist in post-acute care, long-term care, hospice, and palliative settings by delivering compassionate patient service tailored to individual needs.
  • Maintain aseptic technique during procedures such as catheter care or wound management to prevent infection.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in emergency medicine, ICU (Intensive Care Unit), Level I Trauma Centers, or pediatric units like PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit).
  • Support patients with infectious disease care or those requiring acute or sub-acute care by adhering to safety protocols.
  • Utilize medical terminology proficiently to document patient records accurately and ensure seamless communication among healthcare providers.
  • Demonstrate physiology and anatomy knowledge when assisting with complex patient needs or medical procedures such as phlebotomy or IV therapy.

Requirements

  • Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) from an accredited program.
  • Experience working with diverse patient populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, behavioral health, or individuals with disabilities.
  • Prior experience in hospital settings such as emergency medicine, ICU, trauma centers, or medical-surgical units is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Cerner or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting with Hoyer lifts and assisting patients with mobility challenges.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
