• Verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and employees before granting access to secure zones
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies by following established protocols
• Conduct thorough inspections of premises, including checking for hazards or suspicious activity
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during incidents requiring external assistance
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure accurate record-keeping

Skills

• Strong understanding of surveillance techniques and CCTV operation
• Knowledge of conflict management strategies to handle tense situations professionally
• First aid and CPR certification to provide immediate assistance in medical emergencies
• Background in law enforcement, military service, or security enhances situational awareness and response capabilities
• Familiarity with loss prevention practices to deter theft and safeguard assets
