Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Construction Superintendent to lead the day-to-day execution of commercial restaurant or retail projects. This role is responsible for site coordination, schedule enforcement, subcontractor supervision, and ensuring Above Board's quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage on-site construction operations from mobilization to turnover
• Coordinate with Project Manager to maintain schedule, budget, and scope
• Direct all trade partners and ensure adherence to plans and specs
• Maintain daily reports, job site documentation, and safety compliance
• Conduct and document inspections, punch lists, and closeout procedures
• Communicate with clients, vendors, inspectors, and internal team

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a superintendent or foreman on commercial construction projects
• Strong knowledge of restaurant or retail construction
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specs, and construction documents
• Skilled in managing multiple subcontractors and overlapping scopes
• Proficient in construction software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, or similar)
• OSHA 30 certification preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80, $90,000.00 per year
