The Systems Administrator is responsible for maintaining and supporting all computer systems, related software, and technology infrastructure across the property. This role provides consistent helpdesk support, assists users with hardware and software needs, and performs daily routines related to system maintenance, security, and data backups. This position requires the ability to work independently, including during off-hours, and to make management-level decisions related to IT system functionality when necessary, without direct supervision. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues, including POS systems, gaming systems, printers, scanners, kiosks, and workstations. Install, configure, and maintain servers, networking switches, workstations, and related equipment. Perform routine maintenance, patching, standardization, and workstation deployments. Adhere to security policies established by the Manager of Computer Security. Maintain antivirus integrity and workstation security compliance. Manage inventory and documentation for computer equipment, peripherals, and supplies. Support software maintenance and assist with software and system development as needed. Perform daily system data backups and ensure backup policies and procedures are followed. Exercise sound judgment and work independently, including making decisions regarding system restarts or taking equipment offline for repair. Add and maintain network access rights, user accounts, and data security in accordance with company policy. Make recommendations for computer equipment and technology upgrades. Maintain helpdesk documentation, troubleshooting guidelines, and user instructions. Respond to helpdesk calls and manage assigned work orders. Follow all computer security procedures and maintain appropriate authorization to access secure systems and data. Comply with Missouri Gaming Commission regulations and all applicable local, state, and federal requirements. Work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as required. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED required, or equivalent work experience. Two-year degree in computer engineering, MIS, or a related electronics field preferred, or a minimum of two years of relevant experience supporting computer systems, hardware, and software. Working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems (workstation and server) and Microsoft Office applications. A+ Certification or equivalent technical knowledge required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
