This individual will be responsible for driving automation, scalability, and reliability across our systems while collaborating closely with development, security, and operations teams. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in modern cloud platforms and a passion for optimizing and automating workflows./ppKey Responsibilities/pullistrongCloud Infrastructure Management:/strong Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure in AWS, or GCP./lilistrongAutomation CI/CD:/strong Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines, leveraging tools like Atlassian, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar./lilistrongMonitoring Reliability:/strong Implement observability frameworks (metrics, logs, tracing) and drive incident response practices to ensure high availability of services./lilistrongInfrastructure as Code (IaC):/strong Build and manage infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools./lilistrongSecurity Compliance:/strong Partner with security teams to enforce best practices, identity management, and compliance standards (e.g., SOC2, FedRAMP)./lilistrongCollaboration:/strong Work closely with product engineers to improve deployment practices, resolve issues, and accelerate delivery cycles./lilistrongPerformance Optimization:/strong Proactively analyze system performance and optimize resources to improve speed, resilience, and cost-efficiency./li/ulpRequired Qualifications/pulli5+ years of experience as a DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineer./liliExpertise with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, or GCP) and hands-on experience in deploying and managing production workloads./liliStrong background in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS/AKS/GKE)./liliProficiency with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go./liliExperience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef)./liliStrong understanding of networking, security, and system architecture in cloud environments./liliProven track record of building scalable, resilient infrastructure./li/ulpPreferred Qualifications/pulliExperience with hybrid or multi-cloud strategies./liliKnowledge of serverless technologies (AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions)./liliFamiliarity with monitoring/observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Datadog)./liliExposure to regulated industries (finance, healthcare, government) and compliance frameworks./liliLeadership experience mentoring junior engineers or leading cross-functional initiatives/li/ulpLocation/ppThis role is offered as a hybrid or remote position based out of our Sterling, VA office. Salary The base salary range for this position is between $145,000 - $170,000 depending on experience.
