We support every client relationship with intellectual agility, commercial acumen, and a human touch./ppThe Enterprise Applications team at Cleary Gottlieb is seeking a motivated, technically savvy, and business-oriented professional to serve as the initial point of technical contact for the firms cloud-based and AI-powered business applications. This role bridges the gap between business needs and technology solutions, helping departments configure, optimize, and integrate modern applications while ensuring compliance with the firms security and governance standards./ph2Responsibilities/h2olliServe as the primary technical owner and first point of technical contact for assigned cloud-based and AI applications./liliDevelop a strong understanding of each applications purpose, functionality, and configuration./liliPartner with business users to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into actionable technical specifications./liliLearn and perform system administration tasks, including user management, data governance, configuration updates, and troubleshooting./liliWork with internal IT teams and external vendors to support application integrations, data flows, and enhancements./liliAssist Business and Product Owners in planning and implementing new application rollouts, upgrades, and feature adoption./liliDevelop and maintain documentation, process guides, and assisting with developing user training materials./liliMonitor system performance and usage to identify opportunities for improvement./liliStay informed on emerging AI and SaaS technologies relevant to the firms business operations and legal practice areas./liliCommunicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, providing clear updates, recommendations, and training on application capabilities./liliServe as the primary contact with the Information Security team to coordinate and complete security assessments, ensuring that assigned applications meet the firms security, compliance, and data protection standards./li/olh2Qualifications/h2ulliBachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)./lili5+ years of experience in application administration, business systems configuration, or similar roles./liliDirect, practical experience with AI systems, such as generative AI tools, workflow automation platforms, or AI-enhanced SaaS applications. Examples include, but are not limited to, ChatGPT, Copilot, Harvey, Legora, or similar AI integration frameworks./liliProficient in prompt engineering, AI governance, and compliance frameworks related to AI model usage./liliSolid understanding of SaaS concepts, system integrations (APIs, SSO, etc.), and data governance principles./liliDemonstrated ability to evaluate and implement AI-driven features, including model configuration, data permissions, and usage governance./liliStrong ability to learn new applications quickly, develop subject-matter expertise, and translate technical concepts for non-technical users./liliExcellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills./liliAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities./li/ulpstrongPreferred Qualifications:/strong/pulliExperience working in a professional services or law firm environment is a plus./liliKnowledge of legal workflows, document management systems, and enterprise tools such as iManage, Litera, or Intapp./li/ulpThe estimated base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $170,000 at the time of posting. The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of job-related factors, including skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, and performance.
