divh2Systems Administrator/h2pSystems Administrator responsible for resolving IT hardware and software infrastructure issues-including servers, networks, and security-using systems analysis techniques to ensure proper functionality and adherence to system specifications./ppAnalyzes, troubleshoots, and resolves issues across IT infrastructure, including end-user systems, servers, storage, and network connectivity./ppProvides system administration support for assigned infrastructure and establishes and maintains user and system security./ppApplies security patches and operating system upgrades to ensure the integrity and security of the technical environment./ppSupports the implementation of new infrastructure projects and maintains comprehensive configuration documentation for assigned systems./ppWork on client site, Naval Station Norfolk, with up to 50% travel./ppResponsible for supporting testing and software integration in the support the deployment and evaluation of the Navys Theater Medical Information Program Maritime (TMIP-M) software suite of applications as well as Operational Medicine Care Delivery Platform (OpMed CDP), Theater Blood Capability - Mobile (TLBD-M), and other programs/applications as they are introduced and updated in support of military medicine./ppUnderstand the implementation of Endpoint Security Solution (ESS). Responsible for analyzing and resolving IT hardware and software infrastructure (virtual servers, network, security, etc.) issues using systems analysis techniques and procedures to ensure appropriate function of hardware, software or system functional specifications./ppTests and applies security patches and operating system upgrades to ensure the security and integrity of the technical environment to include modification and documenting workflows as needed./ppSupports new infrastructure projects as they are introduced./ppPrepares integration procedures, software update guides, and software integration documentation. Interfaces with System Engineers, Software Test Manager and Configuration Manager validate software integration best practices./ppImplements strategic goals./ppServes as Technical Working Group Lead./ppPrepares software integration artifacts to include Software Test Plans, Software Test Reports, Integration Procedures, etc./ppDevelops and implements innovative products, processes, standards or operational plans achieved through research and integration of best practices that will have impact on the achievement of functional results of a project or system./ppControls incoming software testing cycle and confirms completion of required documentation to present to the Change Control Board (CCB)./ppImplements strategic goals established by functional leadership. Establishes operational plans for job area with short-to mid-term impact on results (e.g., 1-2 years). Provides measurable input into new products, processes, systems, and/or operational plans that will have some impact on the achievement of overall function results. Demonstrates technical innovation in supporting business objectives and mission./ppResponsible for providing guidance, coaching and training other technical employees across the team within the area of expertise./ppBachelors degree related to Systems Administration including integration and configuration./ppRequires mastery level knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May serve as a subject matter expert within the organization./ppKnowledge of virtualization technologies and products such as VMWare, AWS, and remote administration tools./ppKnowledge of and use of AI technologies in support of document creation, update, and routing./ppThe ability to work independently and without constant supervision./ppA willingness to work in an energetic, fast paced and team environment./ppExcellent organization and communication skills. Must have a current Information Assurance (IA) Technical Level II (i.e. GSEC, Security+, SCNP, SSCP) certification/ppIAW DoD 8570 series Information Assurance Training and completed a Windows 10, Windows 11, Server 2012, Server 2019 or Server 2022 certification course./ppMust have an active DoD Secret clearance./ppMicrosoft Certified Solutions Expert -MCSE would be viewed as beneficial./ppExperience with database queries./ppExperience with automation software./ppExperience using and/or installing the TMIP software suite./ppExperience working in naval medical treatment facility environments./p/div
