This position may require evenings and weekends as requested for server maintenance. The Sys Admin will need to complete CBFO training and briefings as directed. Candidate must be able to work independently under the supervision of the IT Operations Manager to plan, execute, document, and report on multiple projects and tasks./ppEssential functions, responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to:/pulliThis position is responsible for coordinating the effective execution of all construction activities for a large construction contract./liliThis position supervises construction entry level personnel and/or construction supervisors./liliContribute to project effectiveness by assisting with the interpretation of engineering drawings, work orders, specifications and manufacturers technical data materials; also assist or perform diagnostics of equipment failures and recommend solutions to solving equipment reliability problems./liliStrong working knowledge of the application of OBO Security Classification Guide for the Design and Construction of Overseas Facilities./liliResponsible for ensuring compliance with site security requirements and reporting to Corporate FSO./liliAttend project progress meetings./liliCommunicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to customer, management, coworkers, clients, vendors and contractors./liliImprove service results by developing and implementing work process improvements in assigned area of responsibility./liliMake sure work is carried out in an efficient manner by coordinating daily work schedules with the customers operations, including personnel deployment, materials coordination and information availability./liliAs directed, fulfill contract requirements by ensuring that the duties and responsibilities of the project contract are clearly defined, documented and followed by the team./liliAbility to live internationally - assignment may last up to 36 months./liliThe Construction Manager shall be responsible for ensuring Contractor compliance with site security requirements./liliResponsible for ensuring the Contractor personnel on site are adhering to the contract personnel requirements./li/ulpRequirements:/pulliRequires an Associates Degree in Computer Science and/or a related field or 4 years of relevant IT experience with 2 of those years to including experience in administration of Microsoft Windows server systems in Active Directory including Wide-Area Network (WAN) experience with forest domains./liliThe substitution of education for relevant experience is in addition to the minimum two years of relevant experience required for this labor category and must be approved by the government on a case-by-case basis./liliCandidate must possess 2 years of experience in performing IT related customer support including, but not limited to, help desk, NOC center, service, desk and/or remote support./liliExperience in IT/help desk management systems such as Remedy, ZenDesk, and/or Web Help Desk to track, manage, and report on workload to management/supervisors./liliKnowledge of DOE Order 205.1B Department of Energy Cyber Security Program and NIST 800-53 experience including implementation methods is highly desirable./liliCandidate must possess 2 or more years of experience with the administration of the following:/liulliElectronic Records Management Systems (ERMS)/liliE-Mail archiving, migration, and data compression applications./liliServer administration to include Hyper-V, virtualization, and thin clients./liliTwo factor authentication including Smart Card configuration/administration is a must./liliPublic/Private Key Infrastructure (PKI) encryption techniques including E-Mail encryption./liliWi-Fi administration/liliPower Distribution Unit (PDU/UPS) administration/li/ulliRequires 4 years of experience in the administration of Microsoft Exchange architecture including VOIP integration, unified communications, as well as records management applications./liliExtensive experience with cyber security best practices including Operating System baselines, CIS/USGCB benchmarking utilities, system hardening, firewall configuration, security appliance administration, and other IT related cyber systems as required./liliKnowledge and experience within Microsoft SCCM for third party patching and OS image deployment/liliThe ability to accomplish technical writing relative to Network/Application project plans, network diagrams, policy procedure, and other types of technical documentation is highly desirable./liliPrepare analyses and recommendations to support the procurement of IT server systems and supporting equipment. Collect, analyze and document market research information for procurement estimates./liliIndependently troubleshoot IT systems. Analyze system, application and security logs.
