Our employees are not only part of history, theyre making history./ppNorthrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a System Administrator (Level 2 OR 3) to join the Deep Space Advanced Radar Capability (DARC) Program to implement and manage various development and mission environments inclusive of all associated hardware and software products. The selected candidate will work collaboratively with technical disciplines such as cybersecurity, hardware engineering, software engineering, and systems engineering to achieve successful outcomes and mission success. This position requires a background with provisioning, integrating, and maintaining computer systems running Red Hat Linux./ppAs a System Administrator within the DARC program you will get to:/pulliPerform as a Linux System Administrator for an enterprise classified network/liliProvide technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software./liliImplement and manage HPE HPC clusters/liliRespond to queries, run diagnostic programs, isolate problems, support development of corrective action and implement corrective actions/liliRecommend and implement system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system including installing, upgrading/patching, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration management/liliCommunicate effectively at all levels of the organization, with internal and external customers, in written and oral format/li/ulpBasic Qualifications:/pullibLevel 2/b: Bachelors degree and 2 years of experience OR Masters degree and 0 years of experience; 6 years of total experience may be considered in lieu of completed degree/lilibLevel 3/b: Bachelors degree and 5 years of experience OR Masters degree and 3 years of experience; 9 years of total experience may be considered in lieu of completed degree./liliActive DoD Secret clearance at the time of application./liliCreate and maintain user and computer accounts and modify file permissions and security access lists./liliTest new releases of products to ensure compatibility and minimize user impact./liliIAT Level II certification (ex. Security+ CE) or greater./liliExperience with RedHat Enterprise Linux 8/9 OS/liliExperience with Ansible/liliExperience with Red Hat Identity Manager (IDM)/liliExperience with Red hat Satellite Server configuration and usage/liliAbility to travel 25% (CONUS or OCONUS)/li/ulpPreferred Qualifications:/pulliActive DoD Top Secret Clearance with ability to gain SCI/liliExperience with Hewlett Package Enterprise High Performance Computing (HPC) cluster management solutions such as HPE CM/liliExperience with various MPI implementations, IntelMPI, OpenMPI, MPICH/liliExperience with InfiniBand networks and the InfiniBand protocol/liliExperience with Nvidia CUDA libraries and GPUs/liliExperience with job schedulers, such as Slurm or PBS/liliExperience with global and parallel file systems, such as GPFS/liliExperience with Data Diode/CDS security solutions/liliExperience with Agile Methodologies and use of Atlassian tools (i.e. Jira, Confluence)/liliExperience with Cameo or similar MBSE tools/li/ulpPrimary Level Salary Range: $75,800.00 - $113,800.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $94,200.00 - $141,200.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
