divh2Cloud System Engineer - Level 2/h2pCACI is seeking a skilled and experienced Cloud Systems Engineer (Level 2) to join our dynamic team to support a DoD client in Suitland, MD. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud platform management, deployment, and monitoring, with a focus on AWS and Azure. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud service models, microservices architecture, and scripting/automation. The Cloud Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure while ensuring security best practices and compliance requirements are met./ppResponsibilities:/pulliManage, deploy, and monitor cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) to ensure optimal performance and reliability./liliDesign and implement microservices architecture within the cloud environment./liliDevelop and maintain scripts and automation tools using Python, PowerShell, or Bash to streamline cloud operations./liliEnsure the security and compliance of cloud infrastructure by adhering to best practices and Responsible AI (RAI) policies./liliManage operating systems (Linux and Windows Server) within the cloud environment./liliCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve cloud-related issues./liliStay current with emerging cloud technologies and trends, including serverless technologies like AWS Lambda and AI cloud tools./liliProvide guidance and support to junior team members on cloud-related projects and initiatives./li/ulpQualifications:/pulliEducation: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM degree is desired./liliExperience: 3-5 years of experience in cloud platform management, deployment, and monitoring (AWS, Azure)./liliClearance: TS/SCI/li/ulpTechnical Skills:/pulliGood understanding of cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and cloud architecture./liliProficiency in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation./liliSolid understanding of network concepts such as subnetting, routing, and firewalls./liliExperience managing operating systems like Linux and Windows Server./liliAwareness of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements./liliFamiliarity with cloud serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda and AI cloud tools and capabilities./liliKnowledge of Responsible AI (RAI) policies./li/ulpCertifications:/pulliSecurity+/liliCloud Practitioner/liliAzure Fundamentals/liliMicrosoft Azure Administrator/li/ulpPreferred Skills:/pulliExperience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)./liliKnowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)./liliExperience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)./li/ulpThis position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately.
