Job Title
Configures, installs, maintains and upgrades computer systems hardware and software | Administers and maintains security of operating systems | Restores files or systems by designing, writing and implementing back-up procedures | Provides operational support for the organization's information systems and peripheral equipment such as application servers, database servers, web servers, desktops, printers and storage devices | Performs recovery procedures, scheduling and back-ups and monitors batch processes Impact of the Role
Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines | Solves complex problems | Works independently, receives minimal guidance | May lead projects or project steps within a broader project or may have accountability for on-going activities or objectives | Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience | Consistent exercise of discretion & judgment Essential Functions
Maintains and supports the integrity of the operating system environment and various computer systems. | Performs systems maintenance tasks, such as system back-up, recovery, and file maintenance to promote uptime and efficient performance. | Acquires, installs, and tests system software upgrades and computer components. | Configures software and resolves technical problems. | Maintains documentation of IT infrastructure and troubleshooting procedures. Performs user management along with end-user support needs from Service Requests Required Qualifications
Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience | Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Preferred Qualifications
Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree | Discipline/Major: Information Technology or other technical degree preferred | Knowledge, skills & abilities: Backup/Recovery. Email Administration. Licensing Management. Problem Analysis. System Administration. System and Console Operations. System Monitoring. System Testing. Systems Troubleshooting. Technical Support. Upgrades Management. VPN Administration. IT Backup Software. IT Network Software. Network Security Software. Operating System. Physical Requirements
Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time. | Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Travel Requirements
No or very little travel likely. Pay Range (USD)
$77,140.00 - $143,260.00 PTO, Holiday, and Family Leave
Employees will receive 11 paid holidays and 120 hours of PTO annually and up to 3 weeks paid family leave.
