Über
CACI is seeking a Systems Administrator to perform system engineer and administration functions. This person will have 3+ years of knowledge and experience to assist in the design and planning of system or service changes to include but not limited to: Migration to cloud, Migration unto corporate resources and Consolidation of existing or incorporation of new infrastructure. Duties and Responsibilities: Stand up, configure, and maintain Linux servers. Monitoring and patching/upgrades to standard networking resources (routers, switches, firewalls). Monitoring and patching/upgrades to servers and VM hardware. Assist and incorporate security compliance controls as applicable. Support documentation of non-applicable controls. Assist with installation of new or replacement hardware or software. Configure and integrate hardware or software with existing networked infrastructure. Assist with decommission and/or removal of obsolete, excess, or replaced hardware. Document inventory changes. Required Qualifications: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Proficient with Linux. Minimum of 2 years Linux system administration experience. Experience with patching and upgrading Linux servers and networking resources. VM experience Security + cert Twenty (20) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required. Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. Preferred Qualifications: Should have working knowledge, able to use and or support, with some (preferably most) of the following resources and tools. Dell and HPE Linux servers Juniper and Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls Palo Alto firewalls Ansible Nutanix VM management Rubrik data storage Nomad containers SALT scripts LibreNMS NetBox What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity. Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
