The System Administrator will provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology systems./ppstrongResponsibilities:/strong/pulliManages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems. Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc./liliProvides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems. Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to management and internal customers./liliConfigures and manages Linux/RHEL and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing enhancements to improve reliability and performance/liliMonitor daily operations of applications and infrastructure/liliPerform system maintenance tasks including patches and updates/liliTroubleshoot and resolve application technical issues/liliAssist with user account management and security administration/liliSupport system backups and recovery procedures/liliHelp maintain system documentation and operational procedures/liliParticipate in testing during upgrades and implementations/liliGenerate system reports and analyze performance metrics/liliRespond to user support requests related to system functionality/li/ulpstrongBasic Qualifications:/strong/pulliFive years of experience as a System Administrator/liliBachelors degree in technical discipline from an accredited college university is required. Five years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree./liliMeeting DoD 8570 level 2 qualifications, which would be any of the following certifications:/liulliSecurity+ CE/liliCCNA Security/liliCySA+/liliGICSP/liliGSEC/liliCND:EC-Councils Certified Network Defender (CND)/li/ul/ulpstrongClearance:/strong/pulliActive TS/SCI with polygraph is required/li/ulpAs required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
