Über
Enhance efficiency through critical automation and process improvements.
Collaborate with internal and cross-functional teams to define and optimize workflows for network deployment and repair.
Identify gaps that affect multiple teams, devise execution plans, and lead projects to reach solutions.
Develop automated solutions for detecting, mitigating, and remediating network events.
Engage with partner teams to understand their challenges and drive collaborative solutions.
Participate in recruiting and mentoring new team members, ensuring their successful integration into our environment.
Perform in-depth troubleshooting and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve system and tooling issues.
Gather requirements with cross-functional partners to align on internal tooling projects.
Proactively identify and eliminate obstacles that hinder team performance.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Over 10 years of automation experience in large-scale networks within the networking domain.
Expertise with Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies.
Proficient in Python programming.
Experience with REST APIs.
Solid understanding of Linux operating systems and networking.
Hands-on experience with network devices including routers, switches, and load balancers.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global team environment with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree or graduate work in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical discipline.
Experience in developing or managing distributed systems at scale.
Knowledge of technology-agnostic engineering approaches.
Familiarity with programming languages such as C, C++, Go, or Rust.
Compensation Package: The salary for this role ranges from $162,000 to $227,000 per year, plus bonuses, equity, and benefits.
