Develop, maintain, and communicate site project timelines, scopes, and milestones, partnering with project management to support a seamless project lifecycle.
Learnings:
Analyze ongoing projects for efficiency opportunities, documenting findings to aid coordination and sharing insights to foster best practices across teams.
Forecasting:
Assist the project controls team with budget forecasting, ensuring clear status updates and effective communication with all stakeholders.
Technical Reviews:
Set purchase milestones for equipment and assist in selecting contractors for cabling work.
Metrics:
Report progress and risks of site projects to key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Workflow:
Collaborate with installation partners to track project milestones and manage change requests efficiently.
Vendor Field Management:
Oversee all connectivity activities on site, fostering relationships with installation partners to drive productivity and ensure safety.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct inspections to confirm compliance with DEC standards, validating installations and adherence to local codes.
Technical Field Lead:
Serve as the technical authority on standards and lead evaluations to clarify project scope and installation methods.
Technical Coordination:
Address in-field challenges by collaborating with design teams to refine project outcomes.
Communications & Cross-functional Team Engagement:
Maintain communication with construction and logistics partners to streamline project execution and mitigate risks.
Safety:
Uphold high safety standards, ensuring compliance with local regulations and championing a 'safety first' environment.
Travel:
This remote position requires at least 50% travel.
Minimum Qualifications: At least 5 years of experience in project management.
Proven experience in engaging and guiding stakeholders.
Track record of solving construction-related challenges.
Proficient with MS Office and Google Suites.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in leading installations according to design documents.
Background in data center development or construction management.
Familiarity with Primavera 6.
Experience managing IT or IP network deployment projects in critical environments.
Experience in deploying network/structured cabling infrastructure.
Knowledge of fiber optic testing and troubleshooting.
Experience with outside plant cabling installations.
Familiarity with quality assurance processes and inspections.
Compensation: $123,000 to $176,000 per year + bonus + equity + benefits Industry:
