Join our dedicated community and prioritize health! The Senior Solutions Architect leads architectural initiatives for CenterWell Home Health programs and platforms. You will shape conceptual and reference architectures, govern solution designs, and align delivery teams to cloud and data strategies, supporting high priority initiatives and enhancing interoperability and provider-data integrations across CenterWell and Humana Insurance. As part of CenterWell IT - Cross-CenterWell Architecture, you will collaborate with product, engineering, enterprise activation, security, data, and operations teams while engaging in governance forums to facilitate Integrated Health initiatives. Key Responsibilities Conduct structured knowledge transfer with existing architects and stakeholders to capture critical designs and decisions effectively. Review current initiatives to establish an architectural roadmap that aligns with organizational priorities. Develop and refine reference architectures and design patterns for core platforms and solutions. Collaborate with governance and compliance teams to validate designs against enterprise standards and regulations. Define integration strategies and create solution blueprints for key systems and data flows. Establish architecture review processes to support delivery readiness and quality assurance. Make a significant impact with your skills Qualifications Required Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a relevant field 8 years of progressive IT experience related to architecture, engineering, information security, or other specialized technology fields A passion for contributing to an organization that continually enhances consumer experiences Core Responsibilities Architectural Leadership:
Oversee end-to-end solution architecture for Home Health initiatives, translating business outcomes into integrated designs across systems of experience, operations, and insights. Reference Architectures:
Author and maintain reference architectures for data platforms, clinical documents NLP, automation, and interoperability patterns; ensure reuse across CenterWell when applicable. Governance & Compliance:
Lead architecture checkpoints and risk reviews, ensuring designs conform to enterprise policies and privacy/security needs. Delivery Enablement:
Partner with product and engineering teams to convert conceptual designs into actionable architectural pathways, minimizing delivery risks with measurable non-functional requirements. Data & Integration Strategy:
Define integration contracts and boundaries for provider data, EMR, and data platforms while ensuring observability and data protection. Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with CenterWell leaders, enterprise activation, security, and segment CIO teams; communicate decisions effectively to executives and delivery teams. Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree 5+ years of experience in solution architecture within healthcare delivery or payer/provider systems, demonstrating delivery in regulated environments. Hands-on experience with Azure services and data platforms such as Snowflake/Databricks. Experience integrating EMR and provider data into enterprise data domains. Demonstrated leadership in producing reference architectures across multiple teams. Expertise in APIs, event-driven integration, security models, and non-functional requirements. Strong communication skills for engaging with executive-level stakeholders across product and engineering functions. Work-at-Home Requirements Must have a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a home office; a minimum speed of 25mbps download and 10mbps upload is required. Satellite and wireless internet service are not permitted for this role. A dedicated workspace that minimizes interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information. Travel:
While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be necessary. Scheduled Weekly Hours:
40 Pay Range:
The compensation range reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time employment. The pay range may vary based on location and individual qualifications. $142,300 - $195,700 per year. This role is eligible for a bonus incentive plan, based on company and/or individual performance.
