We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to lead and manage complex civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in system design, construction inspection, and drafting, with proficiency in advanced engineering software tools. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to innovative infrastructure projects, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency throughout all phases of project development.
*Responsibilities*
* Lead the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects, including infrastructure development and construction management.
* Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and System Design tools to develop detailed schematics, CAD drawings, and 3D models.
* Conduct construction estimating and project management activities to ensure timely delivery within budget constraints.
* Perform construction inspection to verify compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
* Apply GIS tools such as ArcGIS and GIS for spatial analysis and mapping relevant to project requirements.
* Use HEC software for hydraulic and hydrological modeling to support infrastructure design.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on system design, mechanical engineering aspects, and drafting tasks.
* Prepare technical reports, schematics, and documentation supporting project proposals and execution phases.
* Engage in construction site supervision and coordinate with contractors to ensure quality standards are met.
*Requirements*
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field;
Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
* Extensive experience with civil engineering software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, Mathcad, HEC software, ArcGIS, and Schematics drafting tools.
* Strong knowledge of construction estimating, project management principles, and construction inspection processes.
* Proficiency in system design concepts related to civil infrastructure projects.
* Familiarity with mechanical engineering principles relevant to civil systems is a plus.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Effective communication skills for collaboration with clients, contractors, and team members.
