Overview Inspired Online Schools requires an IT Support Technician (1st Line) based in the
South Wales, Crickhowell
Office to expand the IT department in a broad and varied position. You will be joining an expanding team who have a hands-on approach. Primarily you will be supporting 400+ remote employees remotely as well as 8,000+ students whilst also being involved in a variety of other IT-related tasks.
Responsibilities
Ability to log, prioritise and resolve user requests utilising time management skills to prioritise the workload effectively.
IT asset administration
IT Hardware setup and maintenance
Support 400+ employees remotely and 8,000+ students remotely
Support a variety of software packages such as Microsoft 365 and Adobe Connect.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 including the ability to troubleshoot
Escalate and liaise support queries with internal Inspired IT or with external third-party companies
Qualifications
Windows 10/ 11
Microsoft Office 365
Able to troubleshoot and resolve problems methodically and logically
Good administration/clerical skills for updating records
Empathise with user frustrations; capable of dealing with people in a calm, effective manner
Able to anticipate and understand customer expectations and ensure customer requirements are met and expectations appropriately managed. Able to build professional relationships with customers and suppliers.
Able to contribute effectively towards the objectives of a team, and can share knowledge, ideas and information.
This is a great opportunity for someone who has some experience in IT Support but is seeking a new position that will give them broader exposure to IT in a rapidly expanding online education provider. Salary dependent on experience.
