Dental Assistant

**Job Overview**

We are excited to welcome a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to our growing team. Our practice has recently expanded from 12 to 20 exam rooms, enabling us to serve more patients with exceptional care. Each of our doctors is supported by a team of four talented dental assistants to ensure seamless and high-quality patient experiences.

**Duties:**

• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations

• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment

• Assist dentists during procedures and surgeries

• Take and develop dental X-rays

• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices

• Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical documentation systems

• Provide chair-side assistance to dentists during procedures

**Requirements:**

• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures

• Proficiency in operating X-ray machines and 3D scanners

• Understanding of prosthodontics and dental anatomy

• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality following HIPAA guidelines

• Experience working in a dental clinic setting is preferred
